These speakers are absolutely incredible. With only 45rms going from the power pack, they perform unbelieveably well right out of the box (no break in)... They have rich and full mid bass response with vibrant and detailed highs.. NOT too bright and hurtful... the highs are detailed and accurate and you can jam on them all day without hurting your ears. I've built systems before that were on the high end dollar but for the price, these Alpine components are almost too good to be true. The power pack from alpine (KTP 445) powers these amazingly well with powerful and detailed notes.. These speakers are rated at 70rms and I don't doubt the volume could go a little higher if I had an amp with some more power but, I will tell you..
