It is aftermarket and like the last review it did not plug into my headunit. I had to remove the plastic plug also. besides that it works great! I was concerned that there were no actual pictures of the antenna, but took a chance anyways. Shipping was faster then what was quoted!As I was installing this antenna I realized that my AVIC-F900BT required a GREEN Square retention plug, the one I recieved was GREY and round, I simply took off the retention plug exposing the actual connector and plugged it into my unit. It gets GREAT signal, I used the included square piece of metal with the sticky tape to mount it on my rear deck, The length of the cable itself is 5 meters(I think) and was plenty long to route under carpet, behind seats, etc. The antenna itself is magnatized so it can be mounted outside the automobile but I perfer to have everything inside the car for a more factory look.
